Santorum Captures "Texas Conservative Caucus"
|
Presidential candidate Rick Santorum narrowly won the first ever "Texas Conservative Caucus" held Saturday at CTxPAC - Conservative Texans Political Action Conference at the Lakeway Resort and Spa.
Conservative grassroots leaders and activists from around the state of Texas came together to express their opinions on who Texas should support for the next president of the United States. Passionate arguments were given by Larry Welsh for Newt Gingrich, Stephen Shoppe for Ron Paul and Adrian Murray for Rick Santorum. After two rounds of aggressive discussion and lobbying, Rick Santorum narrowly won out winning the endorsement of the Texas conservative grassroots.
The caucus ended an extraordinary weekend at CTxPAC that started off Friday night with the incredible Patriot Reception that highlighted the Texas Top Ten Conservative Challenger Candidates, emceed by the amazing Apostle Claver T. Kamau-Imani and then moved to the Saturday event filled with great food, exhibits, workshops, entertainment, speakers and a fantastic candidate round table. As Saturdays emcee, Jon-David Wells did an extraordinary job of keeping the event interesting and fun filled.
Hats off to all the folks who participated and gave voice to the conservative grassroots of Texas!
