Announcing a new Meetup for Outer Richmond Hangout Meetup!

What: Stern Grove Festival - Old School Funk & Bay Area Soul

Free music festival in the eucalyptus grove at Stern Grove. Music starts at 2pm, but these fill up fast, so let's meet at the front entrance at 12pm so we can get a spot...the weather report says sunny! So bring something your lunch and a picnic blanket.

One of my favorites, Maceo Parker, who was James Brown's old saxophone player is playing...Opening act is Bay Area Soul singer Darondo.

Once you RSVP "Yes" I'll send my cell number so you can find us inside if you're not there at 12, but it's better if we meet in front and go in together.
