Folks,


Tomorrow is the last of the great meetups at Radio Free Asia in DC! (And coincidentally the first day of DjangoCon in Crystal City!) Here's what you need to know:

  • Activestate has made a generous donation to DC Python in the amount of $500, so we'll be ordering pizza and soda for the meetup. Please make your RSVP accurate, as we'll be basing our order on that number.
  • Chris McDonough will present on API Design for Libraries. Diane Mueller from ActiveState and Chris Shenton from Koansys will present on ActiveState's Stackato PaaS. I will ringlead.
  • Following this meetup, I'm taking 3 months off to re-strategize DC Python operations. During this time, members are strongly encouraged to organize meetups and get together. Contact me for the Event Organizer role on meetup.
