About tomorrow’s Meetup

In Matthew’s Gospel, chapter 19, Jesus answers the Pharisees’ question about divorce by referring back to the second chapter of Genesis where it says that man shall leave father and mother and cleave unto his wife and the two shall become one flesh.  Some of the Christian right are saying that this is how God defines marriage, and, therefore, gay marriage is immoral.

The validity of this argument will be discussed with Dwight, the original organizer of the Meetup, and Pete Ross, a Protestant Minister, who are attending with me.

It would be nice if you could join in on the discussion.
