Butta' is a smooth meetup, this Bisexual+ Munch offers a stress-free opportunity for casual conversation and building Bi+ Community over a meal. We meet every 1st Monday & 3rd Thursdays of the month, from 8:15pm-ish to 9:30pm-ish at The Good Stuff Diner following the regular Manhattan BiRequest Meetings. Our Bi+ Munch is comprised of folks who attend Discussion Group as well as other folx from across the body positive, sex positive, and feminist/womanist communities. As Bi+ People people, we self identify as Bisexual+, Biromantic+, MSpec (Multi-gender Attraction Spectrum) and otherwise Queer-identified or Questioning regardless of Labels or the Lack of them ... and as folx of every Gender & Gender Presentation including but not limited to Cis, Genderfluid, Intersex, Nonbinary, Trans, and more ... We're open-hearted, fluid feeling, "both/and" oriented folk; embracing the diversity of our community. We have a great relationship with the Good Stuff Diner (www.goodstuffdiner.com), and we know folks in our community might be on a budget. The diner provides separate checks and is understanding of folks who want to sit in community with us or just order a cup of soup or a tea. Big meals are not required. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ▼ About Us BiRequest (www.birequest.org) has existed in one form or another, serving the New York City metropolitan area, since the early 1990's. We're a community-based support and discussion group serving the metro NYC area... all volunteer run, open to bi+ identifying folx and our allies. We're all folx who've been there. We are the B in LGBT. We are a multi-racial and many gendered and variously sex'd people. We are uniquely challenged and able in many different ways. SideBiSide is a friendly warm and acceping Bisexual+ Discussion Group for all people under the Bi+ Umbrella, that provides a Safe Space for our Community based on principles of Consent, Rotating Leadership, and the Democratic Process. Our goal is to support Healing from Biphobia and Advocate for Greater Acceptance and Empowerment. We meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 7 PM to 8 PM at the big main NYC LGBT Center (https://gaycenter.org) in the West Village. And it will be followed afterwards by a convivial Much at the nearby Good Stuff Diner (https://www.goodstuffdiner.com) on West 14th Street. We are asking for a $5 (more if/less if) Donation to help support our group, but please be assured that no one will ever be turned turned away for financial reasons. ❤️💜💙 Looking forward to seeing everyone at our meetings ❤️💜💙
Come join your peers from Westchester County and the surrounding areas (hello Bronx, Connecticut, Orange and Putnam Counties) for our long-running lively, friendly facilitated discussion group. Our group is for ALL people (cisgender, transgender/gender non-conforming, and not-quite-sure people) as well as people who fall on different places along the monogamous to polyamorous dimension. As long as you inhabit the space between totally straight and totally gay somewhere (i.e., bisexual/non-monosexual queer, same-gender-loving, bicurious, questioning and bi-friendly). People who wish to understand their bisexual loved ones are also welcome. This group is for people over 18. It is NOT a hook-up group. As the name says, we meet to talk about bisexual issues. People whose behavior makes other group members uncomfortable will be asked to leave. The group meets at The LOFT LGBT Community Center (http://www.meetup.com/TheLOFTLGBTCenter/) in White Plains, Westchester County, New York at 7:30 PM on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month. Even if you can't always make it to the group meetings in person, please join us on line (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BiDiscussion/), ask questions, chat, make some "net-friends" and keep up with what is happening in the Westchester County and surrounding bisexual community.
