Blue Ridge Mountain Sports is once again having their annual, FREE, in-store Trail Talks series known as Backpacking 101 and 201. The classes will cover a wide range of topics from Clothing to Wilderness Safety. The classes are held every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. They are free and open to all with no reservations needed.

Our favorite series of educational classes begins Tuesday, September 8th! Once again, Mountain Hardwear is sponsoring the class series with a grand prize package giveaway just like Chris Soukup won this past spring. Come by if you'd like to learn more about hiking & backpacking, but don't know where to begin.

The classes are designed to teach or refresh new and seasoned hikers/campers the basics of what you need to know to hit the trails this year and spend more time outdoors! Whether you're a seasoned hiker, or just want to learn how to safely and comfortably enjoy the backcountry, these informative talks are for you. Come on out and meet people who love what you do...the outdoors!

These talks will be held simultaneously in all their locations. When you RSVP please mention which store you'll be attending so others from in your area will know their will be other THR Camping and Outdoor Adventure members there.
