Ars Datum is seeking a full time, in house, intermediate-level .NET web developer.
Join our Santa Monica team and help build the next generation of web and mobile apps in navigation, healthcare and social media.
Job Description:
- Work collaboratively to envision, design, and develop web apps for large-scale deployment and management
- Rapidly prototype web applications to showcase new concepts and ideas
- Help drive our REST API designs, integrating our web apps with native mobile apps and third party clients
- Help integrate third party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Google) into our apps
- Use the latest Javascript toolkits
- Apply good software design and development best practices
- Assist with technical design specifications and support documentation
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Natural curiosity and strong desire to learn
- Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Javascript and basic SQL
- Experience using HTML5, DOM, CSS3, JSON, REST, JSON, XML, AJAX, etc
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to make great things
Bonus points for any of the following:
- Javascript UI tools like jQuery, Bootstrap, Backbone, Angular, Mustache, etc
- Objective-C
- SVG and/or Canvas
- Geoserver, PostGIS
- Experience writing tests suites
- Computer science, engineering, mathmatics or GIS degree
