When it comes to politics/ politicians, maybe there's a molecule of hope!!! It's not often you see a Republican praising a Democrat, or visa-versa. Here's what Republican Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano said following a visit from Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo.

I was honored to welcome Governor Cuomo to Nassau County yesterday, where he shared his vision for building a stronger New York. From working across political aisles to pass a property tax cap for New York, to working side by side with both houses of the New York Legislature for other meaningful reforms, the Governor continues to turn our state government into an effective, bi-partisan body that works for the people of the State of New York.

Politics would work much better if Democrats/ Republicans worked together/ had more respect for each other. We have our doubts that this will be the norm; but it’s a start!!! Props to Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano for setting an example/ showing how it's done!!!
