Please RSVP to [address removed] or [masked] for our workday by March 13.
Fall Lake Workday - March 16, 9:00 AM
Falls Lake Workday - Come help with trail work on the MST on March 16, 2013! We will meet at 9:00 AM and move to the project sites.

NEW Meeting Spot - All interested should meet at Food Lion parking lot at the intersection of Patterson/Sherron and Highway 98. Please use google maps for this intersection. After we meet we will split up into project groups and "scatter out" to do our trail work.

Please RSVP to [address removed] or[masked] for our workday by March 13, 2013.  Your RSVP is a huge help in a successful workday.

Our Major Projects for the Day are:

  1. 24 foot bridge construction - 3 spots are left for this project near Cheek Road.
  2. Bridge preparations for 2 new bridges near Ellerbee Creek - 15 spots are open for this project
  3. A small trail relocation near Highway 98 and Six Forks Road - 8 spots are open
  4. Trail Maintenance from Highway 50 to the Falls Lake Dam - Eastern half of the Falls Lake Trail. We will split up into small groups and scatter out across the trail sections for work. This is front end work for the 7 April FMST-Bull City Challenge 12 Mile & 50 K runs to make our FLT trail safe for runners.

Thanks to Great Outdoor Provision Company for sponsoring our breakfast from Chick-Fli-A at our workdays.  Thanks also to Starbucks off Falls of Neuse Road and Durant Road for the coffee.

Make sure you bring plenty of water, bag lunch, and gloves.

Next week we will send out a more detailed email about our projects for the day.

Thanks for your service.

Jeff Brewer
