Start the new year strong and go Nuts this Monday.

Happy New Year!

1) Join us at Monday's NJ Tech Meetup 56 with Jeff Braverman, founder of NJ-based Nuts.com.  Hear why he left investment banking and how he's helped grow Nuts.com to over $30M in revenue.  Of course, we'll also have plenty of networking and hear from 3 great startups. RSVP here.

2) Oscar Insurance will be attending Monday's NJ Tech Meetup to share how they're revolutionizing health insurance through technology.  Oscar is a great health insurance option for individuals and teams.  Open Enrollment ends February 15th, so be sure to sign up before the deadline to avoid a government fine.

3) Last year my friend Andrew Weinreich sold two companies, including one to IBM.  He's had a total of four exits, but is best known as the founder of the original social network, sixdegrees.  He's now launched an educational course for startup founders called Andrew's Roadmaps.  Over a weekend, he teaches how to build a successful company based on what he's learned from his 20 years of startup experience.  Several people from our group have been to the program and raved about it.  The upcoming event (over the weekend of March 14th and 15th) is completely scholarship based and concludes with a founders networking dinner.  Spots are very limited.  The only way to get in is to apply and this is the first email announcing the opening of applications.  Don't wait on this.  Apply now.

Hope to see you Monday.  Start the year off right.
