Giants Host The Cowboys

Dear New York Giants Fans Unite San Francisco,

One down and four more to go. This week the Giants host the Cowboys at home at MetLife.  The Giants are 5-1 this season at home but the strength of schedule can be easily debated. Their only loss was to fellow NFL East contenders the Redskins and frankly haven't shown they've improved much since that game. In fact, last week was either a reminder of the Giants shorts falls, an example of being out played or both.

This is not on a single player or players. The Giants shortfalls seem to be very much associated with their plan of attack going into each game. Mike Lombardi frequently states that good teams are good  at doing at least one thing. The Giants haven't shown this yet. In fact, their offense looks mighty pedestrian. I

  • 16th in Passing
  • 31st in Rushing
  • 26th in Total Yards
  • 28th in 3rd down efficiency
  • 5th in 3 & Outs
  • 21st in plays over 20+ yards
  • On pace to score 100 less points than last year
I am not an Eli apologist but I'm also not naive to recognize that players are only as good the schemes they're given to execute in.

I wrote this to a group of fellow Giant fans this week about our beloved Giants.

McAdoo continues to show how far over his skis he truly is as HC. The Giants are on pace to score 100 points less than last season (while OC), he runs the same basic package (11) and his play calling is horribly predictable. They've done nothing to improve the running game which has only made the passing game that much more predictable (there is a trend, 0 targets for Cruz on Sunday, 0 targets for Shepard the week prior).  Rewatch the INT in the end zone to Donnell, the entire Steelers defense knew where that the ball was going. The coaching staff is providing no assistance to Eli which only amplifies his efforts (which are either game winning or game losing) to make something out of nothing(it's when Elliot Manning rears his ugly face). 12-games this season the Giants have only won time of possession 2 times. If they are not scoring, not keeping the opposing team off the field and have an absurdly predictable offense then the  next  four games against the Cowboys, Lions, Eagles and Redskins will be painful to watch.

It's too late to fix the offensive of line (only been 5-years) so they need to improve the schemes to help the players.

Sunday's game is the NBC Sunday night game so the bar will be super crowded. Per last week we'll have a strict door policy to prevent over-crowding so please get to Aces early to guarantee entry. PLEASE REMEMBER TO WEAR GIANTS GEAR AND YOUR VOICE. For those who can't get into Aces the roll-over bar for the New York Giants Fans Unite San Francisco is the Ha-Ra at 875 Geary (Geary before Larkin

The keg table is back for 2016. If you don't want to battle the crowds during the game? Reserve the KEG TABLE for you and your friends.

The keg table allows you to pour your own drinks, in your own roped-off V.I.P. area away from the crowds! This is also a great option for Birthdays, games or special events. Email Keg Table to learn more about availability, pricing and beer options.

Thanks!
