I have changed several tires while on the road and have found the the toughest part of getting yourself going again was re-inflating the tire after replacement.   I bought this and it makes getting back on the road a cinch: https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Bike-Tool-Compatible-Cartridges/dp/B017KU1DIK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1499303203&sr=8-3&keywords=co2+inflator

Re-inflates to about 40lbs. in less than a minute and you're good to go to finish your ride or get home.

I wouldn't be without it. 

There should be a short course in tire changing but I've not seen one anywhere.  Flats happen.

Thank you so much for all you attention to me.

     I'm glad that I can do ocsj's rides.  My way of being considerate of others is to have my bike serviced twice a year , and have the needed tools in my bike bag.

     I tried to order the jersey , but the site said my email address is no good.  I'll go back to that site now , and again try to order the woman's club cut in size 2xl .  I'll gladly pay an extra 8 dollars for shipping.

Cathy,  there is always someone on the rides that can change your flats, etc.  You really just need to have a spare tube in case you get a flat.  With regards to the jersey, you can have it shipped to you.  It will be an extra $8 shipping charge.   Neil

I live next to Princeton.  The other thing is , I probably will not do any ocsj rides.  I do have tools , but it says it's required that I know how to use them.  I can't honestly say that I know how to use them all.
