Depending how one looks at it, it could be good news or it could be
bad news that the Florida Legislature will begin its next session in a few
months.
For the average motorist, it could be good
news, because the Liberty First Network will have three lobbyists on the
job protecting us from Tallahassee's low-information politicians, who
almost always bring us bad news.
John Hallman, Paul Henry and Danielle
Alexandre are all dedicated to helping us motorists. They're already
preparing bills to restrict -- and eventually end -- the red
light camera scheme and they'll promote other bills that work to our
benefit. From working with them during 2014, I
know that they're sincere and knowledgeable about motorist issues.
Unfortunately, they can't -- and
shouldn't have to -- spend huge amounts of time and effort on our
behalf for no return. Therefore, I'm asking that our members send a
donation to http://libertyfirstfl.org.
How much should one give? Well, just
one red light camera ticket costs $158. Other traffic tickets,
license fees and taxes could be several hundred annually. Let those
costs be your guide. I've been sending monthly donations and you can
arrange your own on the website.
You don't have to be a lonely motorist with
no defense against greedy, meddling government. Hire the Liberty
First Network to represent you in Tallahassee.
