Well, you can... But you'd have to first develop an AI, then feed it a dictionary of names from every language, then let it learn.  Then whenever a name is inputted, you call your massive AI to check against the "is this a real name" algorithm.  While, this would be a neat project, the dev cost and load you'll put on your server isn't really worth it.

David's suggestion is a far better validation method.  Or you can use Facebook/Twitter/Google integration.
