Seeking Awesome UI/Visual Designers!

Vitamin T is looking for talented UI/Visual Designers for onsite opportunities with great agencies/mid-sized companies in Los Angeles. We are seeking talent for freelance/short and long term contract, and temp to hire positions. You’ll be working alongside other Digital Creative under the direction of Creative/Art Directors.
The ideal candidates will be intermediate to senior designers who can demonstrate a history of experience with UI/Visual Design for products and/or software applications, mobile, and tablet applications.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of UI/Visual design experience, with an online portfolio demonstrating work experience.
• Mobile visual design experience is required.
• Web design experience, preferably with web applications or transactional websites required.
• Knowledge of interactive medium required.
• Extremely strong visual sensibilities, ability to use visual thinking, storyboards, and sketching
• Deep understanding of fundamental visual design disciplines (typography, iconography, composition, color, layout, etc.)
• Possess ability to think conceptually about design
• Icon design skills
• Motion design skills.
• Screen level interaction design skills
• Expertise using Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and other design related software. Skilled and fast at producing assets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly explain design rationale.
Desired Knowledge/Technical Skills
• Agency experience preferred.
• Brand experience and an understanding of the intersection of brand and UI a plus.
• Any level of UX design experience is a plus (wireframing, creating workflows, etc.)
• Prior experience working in a UX team is a plus.
• Enterprise application experience a plus
• Experience with creating style guides.
