Rebuilding Together Baltimore has recently launched their new Fix-It program to increase the number of homeowners they help with home repairs.
The majority of the homeowners who are served are over the age of 60 and are on fixed incomes. Under the Fix-It program, volunteers will provide critical repairs on houses that make them warmer, safer, and drier.
RTB is looking for skilled volunteers for this program!
They are especially looking for volunteers with skills in the following areas: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, glazing, HVAC, lead safety, computer/web, and occupational therapy.
If you have skills in any of the above areas, or are able to do general repairs around the house, please respond to this email. Please feel free to forward this information to others.
