That sounds like a good plan. When do the festivities start?

All are welcome to come to Paddy Reillys on 29th and 2nd. Just say you are with Daniel's party at the door. There will be a few Canadians among the whole group. But will also be quite international. Good band tonight, too.

HAHA, Is there a group heading out for some beverages tonight?

Looking to meet some other Canadians!

Sounds good but I think in addition that Joe and Doreen should just get it over with and make sweet, sweet love.

I regret writing to the whole group but let?s change the tone now. Here?s an idea (again).

Let?s have a CHH, and that?s spelled with a capital ?Canadian? and a capital ?Happy?!

I?d be grateful if someone would make them happen with the generosity of spirit and welcome that was a natural extension of the group?s laid back style.

The Canadian meetup has been one of the most chilled groups I?ve participated in. And I said ?chilled? not chilly!

Setting the tricky ?email medium? aside everybody, don?t be scared?.!

Thanks Bob...I'm this close, along with many others...to walking away from this group and all the ridiculous infighting.

People just want the group to thrive. Why must we be so ridiculously territorial about our events.

The more events the better I say.

Anyway, if you must have issues with others, please don't air this dirty laundry where the rest of the group has to deal with it.

I think that the fact this whole discussion is happening is very childish.  You certainly should not have put someone's name to an event if they had not responded to you.  And Doreen should be a little more adult ad stop throwing around worlds like integrity.  There is no integrity that needs to be restored on this event.  Nothing was done to tarnish it's integrity.

Joe was tring to continue your tradition and was willing / wanted you to run with it, there is no loss of integrity there.

This whole discussion, in fact the whole meetup as of the last month and the infighting about who can orginize events and who can not is absolutely childish.  If you want to host and create an event due it, one of the orginizers will add it to the calender for you without issue.  That goes for any single person in the meetup who wants an event.

Bobby
