Re: [SanDiegoPHP] Slides From Last Night's Presentation

Oh the irony...

This was on the front page of cnet today:

Forget LinkedIn: Companies turn to GitHub to find tech talent

BTW, I didn't realize this, but last month github got a $100M investment from Andreeson-Horowitz (Marc Andreeson's VC firm... as in... the guy who co-founded Netscape).  That's the largest investment from Andreeson-Horowitz in the history of their firm.

So... if you needed a bit more convincing to get a github account and to start using GIT and contributing to open source projects, maybe that'll help. =)

Hi,

I have uploaded my slides from last night's presentation.  However, there was SOOOO much more discussion and I learned a ton myself while giving this talk.

I would really appreciate some feedback on the presentation here: https://joind.in/event/sdphp-aug2012

The slides are here: http://www.slideshare.net/johncongdon/git-flow-presentation-for-san-diego-php

Again, please also send a thank you message to @lbrown972 on twitter, or [address removed] via email to say thank you for the pizza.

Thank you,

John Congdon
