You can use "echo sharing_display();" in your theme files wherever you want them and just untick all the location options in the Jetpack sharing settings for full control of placement.  See also here.  Remember to use "echo" or you'll get nothing.

 

Once the sharing buttons are produced, you can see the CSS elements used and override them.

 

The plugin documentations says this: You can add your own custom services by clicking on ‘Add a new service’.  You will then be able to add the service name, a URL, and an icon (if you choose to display them).

Hi Folks  I’m looking for new ways to implement and custom style social media shareable icons for the bottom/top of posts etc . We’ve been using Jetpack but keen to explore some more options.

 

We need them to be able to 

- display on the blog home page  under each post

- display on archive/category pages under each post

- display either top or bottom of single posts

- be able to customise with CSS in our child theme (genesis)

 

any tips would be greatly appreciated.
