FinTech Berlin April Meetup

Dear FinTech-Community,

Usually we do not make promises, but this is a big bang event! Soon, we will have another FinTech Berlin Meetup, on Wednesday, April 13th 2016, 7 p.m., again at the susidiary of SAP at Rosenthaler Straße 30, 10178 Berlin.

Another time, we tried our best to find inspiring speakers with challenging stories. Please judge yourself.

The theme for this meetup - by coincidence - could be B2B-FinTechs/Ecosystem provisioning as all of our speakers may tell us something about the consumer–FinTech–Bank relationship. How exiting.

• Solaris (http://www.solarisbank.de/) is the newest egg in Finleap (https://www.finleap.com/)’s nest and a bold move forward into a fully fledged service offering, based on an API-enabled platform that comes with bank licence. Solaris will be presented by Konrad Erzberger (Sen. Bus. Dev.)

• Spotcap (https://www.spotcap.com/) is a multinational online lender for SMEs which offers applicants a loan decision minutes after an algorithm rates their creditworthiness, Spotcap is incubated by Rocket Internet (https://www.rocket-internet.com/) and already funded with more than USD 50m. Spotcap will be presented by Toby Triebel (CEO & Co-Founder)

• SAP HCP (https://hcp.sap.com/index.html), the acronym stands for one of the latest cloud platform developments of SAP, and - more important - is building a bridge to startups via technology, also from FinTechs to banks. SAP (http://go.sap.com/index.html) will be presented by Felipe Arroyo-Ivancic (Banking Transformation & Innovation)

As you already know, our presenters will provide 15-20 minute impulse sessions which will be followed by your questions. The discussion will continue with an informal get together afterwards. Snacks and drinks will be covered and the event is free of charge for you.

With such exiting topics on stage we decided to increase the number of tickets/seats to up to 180. You may bring up to 2 colleagues/friends. But don’t wait too long as tickets run out fast.

Unfortunately we cannot provide parking facilities any longer so best is you use public transport (U8, Weinmeisterstraße, north exit)
