We will begin with spirit classification and otherworld cosmology in order to gain perspective on which areas of otherworld engagement are benign and which are cantankerous. We will explore what the faerie realm is, energetically, and why is it filled with such a variety of expressions.

We will also look at different configurations a person can have with spirits through alignment, contract, mediumship or possession. Then we will discuss common forms of magical protection, arriving at the shamanic view on the topic and spiritual illnesses that can compromise our defense system.

To establish a strong core in spiritual protection, you will learn to journey to the Lower Realms and make direct contact with your power animal and if there is time, the Upper and Faerie Realm journeys as well.
