We have two exciting guest speakers lined up;

  1. Andy Cunningham Sportradar Integrity Director discussing the use of big data for fighting match fixing.

  2. Darren Younger - CEO of Lakeba discussing commercialisation of data analytics in sport

Andy Cunningham of Sportradar will be discussing how Sportradar uses data and technology to help sports fight match-fixing. Match fixing specifically in tennis has been in the spotlight and Sportradar has been hot in the press recently with this exert from Forbes magazine.

Sportradar (http://www.sportradar.us/) has officially made data sexy. The sports data technology and services company has secured a strategic investment from Revolution Growth (http://www.revolution.com/entity/growth/), which was co-founded by Washington Capitals, Wizards and Mystics owner Ted Leonsis. The investment is approximately $44 million according to a source familiar with the deal. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban (http://www.forbes.com/profile/mark-cuban/) and Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan (http://www.forbes.com/profile/michael-jordan/) are participating in the funding round and join Leonsis as part of Sportradar’s U.S. advisory board.
