Welcome to Toastmasters Bogota English Club. We are the first and only English-speaking Toastmasters club in Colombia.
By joining us you can develop your skills in these main areas:

When and where do we meet?

- Every Tuesday from 7:45 pm to 9:30 pm
- Hybrid sessions, last Tuesday of the month: In person at Bogota (please confirm if the session will be in-person) or virtually same zoom link; from 7:20 pm to 9:00 pm.
- You can attend as a guest as many sessions as you wish. This is the best way to know how Toastmasters works.

How can I join the club? What do I have to do to participate?
Please feel free to attend any meetings and let us know at the end of the meeting if you are interested in becoming a member of the club. Our officers will be more than willing to give you all the information you require.

Can I participate even though I'm not a member?
You can attend any number of sessions you would like as a guest and only participate in the Tabletopics activity for free. Tabletopics are impromptu speeches from official members and guests who present a one to two minute improvised speech on a subject not known to them until the moment you get up to speak!
How much does it cost?
You can attend any number of sessions you would like as a guest for free but if you would like to start making prepared speeches and become an official member, it is mandatory to pay the membership fee for six months. If you stay at the end of the session, our officers will be more than willing to give you all information related to fees, payment methods and deadlines.
What are the membership benefits I will get when I become an official member of Toastmasters Bogota English Club?
In return, you will get Online content, so that you can learn anytime, anywhere. Real-world transferable skills, 11 specialized learning paths to choose from, The opportunity to build up unique competencies in interpersonal communication, strategic leadership, public speaking, and management. Most importantly, you will be given the chance to schedule and present a prepared speech at a meeting, do your presentation and your speech evaluator will rise to give you oral commentary as well. The purpose of the extensive preparation and commentary is to show you what you're doing well, and what you need to work on and drive these lessons home so you're constantly improving.
Do I need a high English proficiency level to participate?
No. You can have a basic level of English to start just attending the sessions. But if you would like to become an official member and start doing presentations, you will need at least an intermediate level of English so you can fulfill the objectives for each presentation.
Can I bring people to the Toastmasters Bogota sessions?
Yes. The more the merrier!
