私たちについて
The Round Table Kansai is about to enter its third year. There have been over 110 attendees from over 26 countries since October 2011. This is the first time that notice of the group is going out to the public as the attendees have come by "kuchi-komi" (word of mouth). We limit the number to the first 20 people who respond to the announcement of the next meeting, two weeks before the start of the meeting, not before. There is a Guest from a wide variety of fields and interests, ranging from astrophysics to butoh to conflict transformation, at every meeting. Aside from the Guests, those in attendance are encouraged to play an active part at the Check-in that starts each meeting, through the Questions and Comments to the Guests, and in Small Group Discussions based on the theme of that meeting. Generally, we meet once a month. The language we use is English, and those with a comfortable command of the language are encouraged to join us. The Round Table Kansai has been called "an intercultural, intergenerational experiment in ideas and ideals".

Everyone is welcome with particular interest in individuals from foreign lands now living in Japan.
