I thought some of you fellow dog lovers might be interested so I am passing along the information I just received regarding an upcoming practice on Wednesday, December 9th. There are 3 sessions at 9:30am, 10:30am, and 11:30am. They try not to have more than 6 to 8 dogs maximum for any hour of practice... so the spots fill up quickly! Feel free to RSVP and include the time you have reserved to attend.

Practice Guidelines

Las Vegas DockDogs does their best to run practice as if it were a real DockDogs Competition. The handlers and their dogs will line up at the bottom of the dock with their dogs on-leash. They will also have a Handlers Meetings before each practice. Dogs which are disruptive are not allowed to attend the handlers meeting.

The majority of these dogs are very driven retrievers and get possessive of wanting to make every single jump. All the dogs, other than the dog jumping, has to be on-leash with a few feet between each dog to respect space issues. That works out fabulously!!

Each dog will have about 5 minutes on the dock, then the next dog and so forth. The dogs are rotated through their running order in hopes to give each dog 2 times on the dock. * Please also be aware the water is cold this time of year and may deter some dogs from jumping into the water.

What To Bring

-4��� leash
-Poop Bags (you must clean up after your pet)
-Throw toy that your dog prefers, that floats
-You are welcome to bring a crate (especially helpful if you have multiple dogs)
-Drinking water for you and your dog
-Shade (recommended for the hotter months)
-Towel
-Water resistant footwear is recommended
