Hello NY Jets Fellow Fans/Friends:
We have survived a week that could have been the end of the NY Jets season. But rather than being left for dead in St. Louis, we played the best game of the season, outplayed the Rams in all facets of the game and now are one win away from getting back in the thick of the playoff race. The only problem is that one win are the the New England Patriots. I am sitting here watching the Patriots put a major hurting on the Colts treating them the way you treat a punching bag in a gym. But we also beat the Colts to a pulp. It is not going to be easy and probably rather difficult but not impossible to beat the Pats. With the game only 4 days away, both teams will have to play with little preparation. And the Patriots have to travel here, making their turn around time even shorter.
Sanchez was fantastic today; 15-20 and big passes down the field. And Shonn Greene running over people, daring Ram defenders to get in his way. And was that Wilkerson I saw making plays? Still no sign of Coples. Does anyone know if he made the trip this week? Last week? The week before that?
We have an incredible opportunity on Thursday to right the wrongs; the horrible loss to the Dolphins; the ugly fumbles by Sanchez; the ugly picks thrown by Sanchez. Remember, we were an easy catch away from beating the Patriots in New England. Time for redemption. A win on Thursday, although it only puts us at 5-6, places us in great position for a playoff run with the Cardinals, Jaguars, Titans, Chargers, and Bills completing our schedule.
Only the Patriots stand in our way of having a real chance to get to the playoffs. Can the Jets do it on Thursday?
.
