Yes, a large national bank promoting the productive capabilities is the only liable option. Small local banks do not have the capacity to develop the nation. An example would be the funding and development of the canal system. No bank at the time could or would fund it. The results of the canals was a drastic expansion of man's productive capabilities along the canal routes. 

The bank serves an even greater purpose. It institutes a system of national credit. It ties money creation to the productive capacity to extinguish that debt and increase economic efficiency. 

A Hamiltonian credit system is the antithesis of your current monetarist debt slave system we have. The hard money powers have killed it every time we utilize our constitutional right to money via Art. 1 Sec, 8. This is the only way out of the monetarist grip on this nation and its productive potential. 

I encourage you to read about the American System and Hamiltons credit system. The American System is the only alternative to the London created free trade, Marx, communism, libertarian ideologies. Libertarianism is not American. Although it sounds good but in practise it varies little in outcome. The American System has been buried for a reason. It's not tough in American schools or even mentioned. The American System is our founding ideal and it's what made this nation the 3rd biggest industrial power in 60 years from nothing.

Congress is in session between the 4th and 21st of March. Therefore, we need to pour in the calls, letters, and to set up meetings both to get co-sponsors on HR 129, plus to get action on getting Glass-Steagall restored. We still need a breakthrough in the US Senate, which would mean getting a sponsor for a bill in the Senate for Glass-Steagall. You can keep track on the growing support on this page  of the website, and find there copies of resolutions which we are fighting for in different states. Call Tim Rush [masked] for backup.
