About us
This group is for those who love outdoor activities. Hiking, camping, backpacking, mountaineering, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, spelunking, walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, as well as other sports, are all activities that are possibilities for our calendar.
By joining North Texas Outdoors you are agreeing with our Liability Waver and all it's terms which can be found here.

I fully understand and acknowledge that:
(a) outdoor recreational activities have inherent risks, dangers and hazards and such hazards existing by virtue of my participation in such outdoor recreational activities and the use of various equipment in connection with such activities as well as risks that may be encountered in transit to and from various venues where such activities may take place;
(b) outdoor recreational activities have hazards which may result from activities associated with strenuous outdoor activities, including, but not limited to, injury or death from personal limitations, falling, hypothermia, drowning, rock falls, snake or insect bites, lightning strikes, equipment failure, weather conditions, or errors of trip leaders or other participants or third parties;
(c) my participation in such activities and/or use of such equipment may result in injury or illness including, but not limited to bodily injury, disease, strains, fractures, partial and/or total paralysis, death or other ailments that could cause serious disability;
(d) by my participation in these activities and/or use of equipment, I hereby assume all risks and dangers and all responsibility for any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of the members, agents, officers, trip leaders, or directors of NTO, or by any other person.
This agreement shall be construed by the laws of the State of Texas between the parties shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
I HAVE READ THE ABOVE WAIVER AND RELEASE AND AGREE IT IS MY INTENTION TO EXEMPT AND RELIEVE North Texas Outdoors., FROM LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR WRONGFUL DEATH CAUSED BY
NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER CAUSE. I AM AT LEAST EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE AND UNDER NO LEGAL DISABILITY.

Sunday Sunrise Paddle Fort Worth
TC Paddlesports at Panther Island, 480 N Taylor St, Fort Worth, TX, USGreet the sunrise from the calm waters of the Trinity Confluence.
Join us in the predawn hour for a guided tour on the Trinity National Water Trail. Breakfast snacks included. Bring your own boat or rent one of ours. Meeting times subject to change as sunrise times change.
Free if you have your own boat. (Though a tip for the guide is nice).

Full Buck MOON Paddle at Panther Island
TC Paddlesports at Panther Island, 480 N Taylor St, Fort Worth, TX, USEnjoy the sunset on the water and night on the Trinity River National Water Trail under the full moon. See the river forest by night and the city lights from the water under the full moon.
We will meet at TC Paddlesports at 7:15 PM and launch at approx 7:45 PM from the Panther Island Beach. We will paddle into the sunset. Once the sun is down, we will turn around to enjoy the calm water and the full moon over the city as we return to the beach.
Sunset 8:41 PM. Moonrise 8:07 PM.
This is a beginner friendly trip of about 4 miles.

$90 2 person kayak or canoe
$45 Stand Up Paddleboard (1 person)

If you have your own equipment you are welcome to join us. There is no launch fee but we request a donation to Trinity Coalition or a tip for our guides. Lights are available for $5 rental. (Required bright white light on stern that can be easily seen).
Bring water, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, as well as clothes and shoes that can get wet (YOU WILL HAVE TO STEP INTO THE WATER).
