Friends,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Many of us make new year resolutions and mine is to not drink wine any more...or any less ;)  Reflecting on 2012, it was a great year for the Bacchus Club. Membership swelled, event attendance is awesome and, most importantly, new friendships were forged.  Thank you all for making the Bacchus Clubs one of Southeast Michigan's best Meetup.com groups.

Also, a special thanks to co-organizers Colleen, Dorva, Eric and Marie.  Their assistance makes it possible for the club to have multiple events a month.  I nearly shut down the meetup after a disastrous event in February where only one of 14 RSVPs showed-up. Eric talked me out of closing the club and I'm grateful for it.  Thank you, Eric.

Because of the holidays, the club didn't organize many events for December but some great meetups are planned for January.  On January 4, the First Friday Tasting will feature California wines. The Delectable & Unique Wine Tasting Experience planned for January 11 is full but join the wait list because members change their RSVPs all the time. Hope to see you at one of these tastings or another meetup soon.
