Happy New Year Happy Hour Enthusiasts!

2013 has come and gone and has brought us into a brand new year! Fairfax Happy Hours for Young Adults had a fantastic year in 2013! We hosted 27 meetups at 21 unique venues and welcomed 432 new members to the group! We met up for drinks all over Fairfax County, drank wine at wine festivals, and jumped around on trampolines. If you enjoyed what we brought you in 2013, then 2014 will certainly not upset!

First, Natalie and I would like to welcome all of the new members of the group. If your new year's resolution was to get out and explore new, exciting opportunities, then you are one step closer to achieving your goal! For both new and old members, if you haven't made it out to an event yet, now is the best time to come out and experience what Meetup is about.

2014 will be all about expanding our horizons. Fairfax Happy Hours for Young Adults will continue to encounter new bars and restaurants all around Fairfax City and Fairfax County. We will also be exploring new areas and experiencing new events outside of Fairfax.  In addition to providing our regularly scheduled happy hour events in Fairfax, we will also be providing "bonus" events not related to happy hours. This includes wine tastings, sporting events, hiking trips, bar crawls, and so much more!

This Meetup group wouldn't be as successful as it is today without its members. We are very fortunate to have such a fun, enthusiastic, and friendly community of young adults that come out willing to interact with and meet new, unfamiliar faces. Natalie and I would like to thank each of you for your continued support of the group.

We are looking forward to an exciting 2014 and hope to see you at a future Meetup event!
