Hm, sounds like a decent place to fish! I'd prob be game to go if there aren't too many that want to join. I can drive and carry some too. Truck with 3 comfy seats avail and good fuel mileage. You drift fishing with beads out there?

It's combat fishing at the bridge, where gush stack up in deep water and your vehicle is 40 yards away. By 800 yards upstream, its possible to have longer drifts of[masked] yards with 3,4,5 prople on them. Plus BOTH sides of the lower 12 miles are bank-accessible.

Saturday I am thinking about hitting the deschutes again. As I look at the dalles dam there is still[masked] fish (steelhead) a day going over. Can't help but think a few of those heading into the deschutes.

Let me know if you want to go. Be glad to help and I have an extra rod.
However here are some requirements:
1. Must have waders and boots for walking in the river.
2. Must be physically able to walk a mile or two in fairly unravel terrain. Not easy river to fish physically.

Otherwise fishing Theo Utah, leaving portland early (5 or so) heading back in the afternoon sometime.
Pitch in for gas is the main expense.

Thanks and let me know only if interested.
