I'm actually going over to Ancient Lakes in Quincy right over the Cascades off I-90 tomorrow morning on an overnight backpack trip. It is snow free and I have had a few friends go over in the last week. Here are pictures and trip reports from a trip: http://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7973679
 
A few other friends went over to the Boulder River and the road is now snow free. The campsite at the end of the trail still has snow though, unless you don't mind pitching your tent on top of snow, should be melted in 2 weeks or so.
