Shop at Value Village and help the homeless.
Hello Everyone! On Mondays, Value Village (most of them) have a special .99 cents color tag sale (ask the staff what is the color special of the day). I am encouraging everyone to go visit your local Value Village and shop for all sizes of jeans, sweat pants, and shoes/boots for an adult male (most needed are M to XXXL, shoe sizes 9 to 14). Backpacks, sports bags, tote bags, sleeping bags, and summer clothing (t-shirts and cargo shorts). These are the items asked by the homeless folks I help. Socks and Underwear are very much in need all year round. I want to inspire you to distribute these items to the homeless throughout Seattle. A small act of kindness goes a long way. I'll be distributing these items to the homeless and to the folks waiting to be hired at the back parking lots of Home Depots in Aurora, Shoreline, Everett, and Everett Union Gospel Mission on the second Saturday of each month. I will post the meetup event for the second Saturday of the month and you can bring your donations and share some time with these folks. Let's show these folks that we care about them and that they are not alone. My friend sister Elizabeth and her friends will be making a delicious meal for these folks. You get to try her home cooked meal and I will bring extra food/dessert and donations to contribute with her generous heart. It will be an event that will change your life forever. I guarantee it. Happy shopping! Amiga Debbie
