We are a collaborative of holistic movement & conscious dance facilitators, expressive arts/sound therapy providers and healers dedicated to bringing you transformative, nourishing and healing experiences designed to connect you with your heart, body, and soul. We gather and unite people with bodies that are longing to move, minds ready to share, hearts open to love and connection, and spirits eager to explore through movement, expression, sound, and play!
We facilitate conscious, expressive, transformative and ecstatic dance classes and workshops in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. We also proudly host visiting teachers from various dance practices. To date, we've hosted visiting teachers from the following dance practices: Nia, 5 Rhythms, Trance Dance, Sufi Dance Meditation, Dancing Freedom, and Journey Dance.
We promote exceptional practitioners that have unique gifts in using movement, sound/voice, and rituals to bring light and healing for the whole person and for the community and earth.

**What can I expect at a dance?**
•Move to recorded music flows, in free or structured form, with or without a leader, depending on the type of dance. Occasionally we will have live drummers and/or DJs.
•Expect anything from simply having fun and having a good workout to a deeply transformative healing experience.
•No dance partner needed for any of the conscious dance experiences offered with the Charlotte Conscious Dance Community.
**Who can attend?**
EveryBody is welcome. Truly. Really. Completely. There is no professional dance experience or training needed to participate in any of our classes. That's part of the fun!
**What should I bring?**
Comfy clothes, shoes if you like though we dance barefoot mostly (dance shoes OK-no street shoes please), water, hand towel, and your admission (check, cash, sometimes credit card).

Cost varies per event, workshop, class or training. Please check individual meetup descriptions for pricing.
