What we're about

Are you a fan of shows like Serial and the Moth? Come check us out.

Charlotte Storytellers is for grownups who never grew out of story time. We are an irreverent group of first-time, amateur and experienced local storytellers. Twice a month, we play games and tell stories centered around a theme. We place a large emphasis on workshopping, so our meetings are a perfect place to bring unfinished work. Once a season, we take the best stories, polish them, and perform them in a big showcase.

Feel free to read more about us here (http://clclt.com/charlotte/charlotte-storytellers-is-all-about-that-wordplay/Content?oid=3605765) or here (http://www.charlotteagenda.com/1355/sit-down-we-have-a-story-to-tell/).

Stories on the Theme: Evolving

Online event

Everything changes, whether you want it to or not. Come tell a story about change, be it seismic or incremental, in the blink of an eye or slow as molasses. The Zoom meeting will open around 7:20. Then we'll start right on time at 7:30 with round-robin check ins, maybe play a game, then move on to workshopping stories. You don't have to bring a story to come! But if you're interested in sharing, we're looking for first-person, true narratives around 8-10 minutes long. You can write something to read, or work from memory or notes. New voices welcome!
