Duke Farms Walk
Details
Let's go for a hike at Duke Farms! Duke Farms is the former estate of James Duke and his daughter Doris Duke. It's been turned into a massive nature reserve filled with gardens, lakes, ruins, and a greenhouse (there's even a pet cemetery on the grounds).
We'll meet at the Farm Barn Orientation Center. Our hike should last about two to three hours, depending on what paths we take. After the hike, we'll see if anyone wants to grab food/drinks or anything else.
We need to reserve parking passes to park at Duke Farms. Parking passes can be reserved at this link. From what I understand, for Saturday the 25th, parking passes can be reserved beginning on April 20th.
This parking pass is required for Saturday's at Duke Farms. If you don't pick up a pass, I can't guarantee you'll be able to find parking.
Duke Farms won't allow a group of more than 20 people to congregate on the property. If you can't make it, please remove yourself from the RSVP list.
I look forward to seeing everyone there!
