🥾🌊SWilhelmshagen - New Venice - to Müggelsee -10 km+optional Summer Fest🌅⛱️

Meeting point is 13:00 at Station S Wilhelmshagen (S3).

• We'll be walking around the beautiful New Venice (Neu-Venedig), a channel-rich area east of Müggelsee.
• Continuing to spacious and cost-free Müggelbeach, having a swim break (30 to 45 min).
• Official end of the tour is shortly after at tram station Fürstenwalder Damm.
• Option: Afterwards there is the option to visit the famous Summer festival in Köpenick (sitting at the water in the old harbour area with some food and drinks we could get there).

It's getting hot, so it's only slightly above 10 km, not our usual 15 km. It's more about the scenery, the beach and the optional visit at the Köpenick Wine Festival.

Depending on the composition of the group, it should take us around 3 hours pure walking time, plus the longer swim break.

Please don't forget to bring enough food, water (I'd recommend at least 1.5 L) and clothes (swimwear if you want to swim), sunscreen, mosquito repellant... according to the weather forecast.

We can do some smaller breaks for taking photos or just admiring the view.

Please, please, please try to be on time. If not, please understand that I cannot make +10 people waiting idly. I can share my live location for those who are late, but for the sake of the group (and my nerves) cannot communicate much via chats after we start.

I'm not a professional guide and according to Meetup rules not liable for anyone's safety. Everyone should be able to take responsibility for themselves.

If you can't make it, please be respectful enough to update your confirmation of participation in a timely manner to give those on the waiting list a fair chance to prepare and come instead.
