Learn how to build intelligent robots and take over the world (DL/RL)

Have you ever wondered how we get to intelligent machines? What modern techniques, algorithms and research from DeepMind and OpenAI look like in the real world? Have you ever wanted to explore creating robots and combining multiple branches of AI research?

Well, coming hot from the RSS robotics conference are some of the MTank team, happy to explore these topics with you thanks to support from Bosch, Stuttgart. For those wanting to get insights into state of the art robotics and AI technologies, e.g. Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Multi-Modal, Reinforcement Learning, Navigation and Manipulation/Grasping: Look no further!

In this meetup we will introduce the vision of MTank (www.themtank.com), including our most recent work. We'll talk about two projects we run at present, 'AI-Distillery', a project that looks to automatically map AI research globally and provide insights, and 'Cups to Consciousness', an attempt to teach robots to reason in simulated space and then in the real world.

We'll also open the debate of how we envision the development of AI and robotics over the next few years. Opinions welcome!
