HTML5BUG: The interactive web! Edition
Details
Last meetup was filled with juggling, games with cute characters, and really interesting talks by you, the community! let's do that again-- this time, following the theme "The interactive web!" Are you working on an interactive web project (css/jquery/other) and looking to share and get feedback? Or perhaps you're doing something with websockets, or webRTC where we can get the crowd interacting with your mad creation?! Bring your experiments and your code and come share with us! If you're interested to give a talk, message me before the event: rachel@bemyapp.com
Alberto Granzotto (https://twitter.com/vrde) will join us to discuss that Web development is broken! Building a UI for the browser is a pain. Doing it for several devices is even worse. MorgenJS is an experiment to find a new way to make apps. MorgenJS explores a new field: reactive and responsive development.
David Scharf (http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=52725778) will also be there to talk about his role as the CTO of Videopath (http://www.videopath.de/) and the challenges the company faced while developing an interactive video application for mobile and desktop in HTML5
Silver Kuusik (https://twitter.com/silverkuusik) will show us his Open Source interactive, collaborative platform, Codesnail (http://www.codesnail.com/), to teach computer science to everyone for free! Note: his scheme involves sumo robots:)
i look forward to seeing you all there!
Cheerio,Rachel
