Open (peer) review: let's build it.

Hi there!

The open con satellite event was a success. We ended up with 2 projects:

1. Gathering and distributing open science informations

2. Create/support an open (peer) review system and bring the cost of peer review down, such that APC (price to publish an article) could be reduced.

The January meetup will be about bringing this second idea to reality. We will be happy if you would bring expertise in web development, databases, peer review process, business development, open source project management, science communication, group motivation, or cake baking; what we need the most is your enthusiasm and innovative ideas.
