Our world is built on products. Most of the time we take these for granted. Laptops, coffee machines, radiators, and car cockpits are only a few examples of frequently used products of our daily life. Did you ever question who made them, why they made them and why they are how they are? All of them tell a story. They add (often unconscious) value to our lives, fascinate us or disturb us. They can help us express our personalities and get things done.
Every product (digital and physical) provides a user experience, whether positive or negative. All products have been designed by humans. At this meetup we will take a look at the role of usability and user experience in product design and provide actionable advice for designing great products.
* The Evolution of physical and digital design (Carolyn Schulteis, e.GO Digital)
* Unlock the potential of positive innovations. Designing to satisfy human inner motivations and psychological needs (Melanie Becker, Noto GmbH)
* Innovating with Design Sprints (Daniel Wirtz, Crisp Studio GmbH)
* Democratizing Hardware UX Prototyping (Prof. Jan Borchers, RWTH Aachen University)
After the talks, you’re welcome to stick around to enjoy the rest of the evening and to use the opportunity to talk with the speakers and get to know other attendees.
Special thanks go out to E-Go Digital GmbH, for sponsoring the event, providing the location, drinks, and snacks.
