All about Azure Resource Manager

In our last meetup we have talked about modern Backends and Microservices in context of Azure cloud platform. It was a hot topic for all developers and architects. In this meetup Microsoft Architect Ricardo Machado will talk about Infrastructure as Code and ARM.

Resource Manager provides a consistent management layer for Azure. This session is an overview of ARM’s fundamental concepts. We’ll review ARM templates, how to take advantage of Policies, Roles, Tags and other capabilities. We’ll also discuss tooling across all popular client/server platforms and how to take advantage of ARM in deployment automation scenarios.

Ricardo is an Architect in the WW Modern Datacenter Center of Excellence at Microsoft. He works day to day with Hosting Service Providers, designing solutions and supporting the implementation of Microsoft's Cloud OS and making Cloud OS Network real. With more than 15 years experience, Ricardo is a regular speaker at Microsoft's internal and external events.
