Winter is coming... And a new meetup too!
Manfred (https://twitter.com/manfred_karrer), the founder and lead developer of Bitsquare (https://bitsquare.io/), a decentralized Bitcoin exchange, will explain how to create a fully decentralized organization and a funding model for an open source project based on the community.

Bitsquare is an AGPL-licensed desktop application that leverages a custom P2P network over tor hidden services. It applies the principles of Bitcoin to the process of exchanging Bitcoin itself to any other currencies (either fiat or other crypto currencies).
Since the audience may not be familiar with crypto currencies, Manfred will not dive too deep into Bitsquare and will also talk on their revolutionary potential and the possible implications for society in the form of permission-less innovation with money and new organizational models that fit projects creating a common good like Free Software.

At the end we will have snacks and drinks.
Please bring some official document (e.g. ID card) to enter the building. The receptionists will ask to check the name you registered with at the meetup to let you into the building.
