Berlin MusicTech Meetup #9
Details
(-: YAY! THE BREAK IS OVER. WE ARE BACK! :-)
FINALLY... after all those months without any real in-person event, we are super excited to be back with the first Berlin MusicTech Meetup since this pandemic has started. It's a collaboration with MusicPool Berlin(https://musicpoolberlin.net/).
The main goal for this meetup is to gather the music tech community and to reconnect with all of you again. We will also stick with the concept of having an overall topic for the evening, so that we can all go home a bit smarter and maybe even inspired. ;)
IMPORTANT!
Due to corona restrictions and the space, the number of attendees is limited. In order to attend the meetup, please fill out this form(mandatory!).

This edition's topic is:
The Future Of Interaction With Music - NFTs, DAOs, and the decentralized web
The format will be a bit different this time.
We won't have the usual 15-minute talks at the beginning. Instead, Matt will just give a short overview about the basics of Web 3.0, followed by an open discussion with 3 experts on stage from which we will hopefully learn as much as possible. Everyone in the room is invited to ask questions. Think of it as an open AMA. ;)
This conversation shall give everyone a better understanding of the currently evolving decentralized web technologies, how they can be applied to the music ecosystem, the opportunities for musicians, and the structural change which music companies can expect in the future.
We aim to facilitate a conversation that is interesting to all of you. Those who may have only heard buzzwords about the hype, as well as those who wonder if they should now publish their music as NFT or organize their scenes in a DAO, to those who are already building new tools.
After the conversation, there will be drinks and music with enough time to meet and mingle.
We will also set up the "Wall Of Opportunities" on which you can leave a note if you are looking for a project partner or if you would like to offer your skills to others.
