DEUTSCH
ENGLISH:
After months of practicing our camera and compositional skills, finally here's a project whereby we can put everything we've learnt into practice.
Autobahn A100 Extension
Taking as our inspiration the discussions concerning the extension of the inner-city motorway, the A100, which is planned to cut through the recreational area Treptower Park, this one day photo project is all about documenting the good, the bad and the ugly concerning the city's urban planning.
Background for this action is parliamentary candidate Sebastian Blume für Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg & Prenzlauer Berg (Ost), who wishes to show that there are other ways of becoming involved in local politics other than taking part in the usual party driven podium discussions.
The event will therefore have 2 distinct phases:
Part 1 - Photo-Walk
As usual we will go iff exploring the area with the object of documenting the urban planning as we see it, capturing images for use in the political discussion regarding Berlin's future development.
Refreshments and then . . .
Part 2 - Workshop
The photos will be edited and given titles where necessary and then uploaded into the cloud via the provided mobile WiFi Hotspot - there will be laptops available with card readers as necessary.
Post Meetup.
It would be good if everyone attending could post at least a couple of photos here after the event, it's all part of the learning process, and we can also learn from the shared experience, and admire each other's work.
Cost.
There’s a suggested donation for this event of €2 to cover costs and the time involved in arranging it all (Meetup fees, planning, writing, checking sites and details, etc).
Please bring it in the form of a metal coin, not a €50 banknote.

Other.
This event will take place even if an asteroid threatens to extinguish all forms of life from the surface of planet Earth, and will therefore certainly not be cancelled just because of adverse weather conditions.
RSVPs will be open 7 days before the event, update them as necessary, but please don't leave it until the very last day, because it's sometimes just stealing a spot from someone on the waiting list, and I do therefore keep a list of the worst offenders, including those who just can't be bothered to attend, who to their dismay are sometimes removed from the group, especially when they refuse to mend their ways, because this casual attitude is just spoiling it for everyone else.
And this applies especially to all “first-timers”, who will be immediately removed, no questions asked.
Please be aware that your personal safety and that of your guest(s) is your own responsibility for the duration of this Meetup event.
Thank you.
Please: at events call me on this number: 0176-39335630, or send me an SMS, do not post enquiries on the event page, or send me WhatsApp, Skype, or Viber messages, because I usually just don't receive them until it's too late.
