Scrum Master Assignment Clarification (Auftragsklärung) - ONLINE

Dear Scrumers,

this meet-up has been passive for some time and will now start to breathe again. We (Timon + Anton) thank Ioana and Gerald for starting this and for asking us to take over for now.

Our first session is going to be about “Assignment Clarification” (German “Auftragsklärung”) of a Scrum Master.

Why: As a Scrum Master you don’t have formal authority, but are expected to have influence. Where does this influence come from? Your influence comes from the assignment that you are given by the organisation, your team or your product owner. Your ability to solicit an assignment and the process of continuously clarifying it, is one of the most important coaching parts of your job.

How: We’ll first connect with each other as humans, then we’ll move on to a short input by Anton and then we’ll create small groups to discuss implications and our challenges around assignment clarification.
