[Online] Create and Deploy a Chatbot in 60 Minutes

Online-Event

What is a chatbot? Chatbots use natural language recognition capabilities to discern the intent of what a user is saying, in order to respond to inquiries and requests. The problem is, most chatbots try to mimic human interactions, which can frustrate users when a misunderstanding arises. Watson Assistant is more. In this webinar you will learn how to create and deploy a Chatbot in the IBM Cloud in 60 minutes. Register for a free IBM Cloud account, no credit card required: https://ibm.biz/BdqnXy More information about chatbots: https://developer.ibm.com/articles/introduction-watson-assistant/ ------------- Disclaimer: This Online-Event will be hosted via Webex. By using Webex you are free to register using an alias, to mute yourself and to switch on/off the camera option at your disposal. [Online Workshop] What is Knative?

Online-Event

From developers, for developers. If you search for the term 'Knative' you will find it very often together with the term 'Serverless'. The Knative web site says that it is made up of "components build on top of Kubernetes, abstracting away the complex details and enabling developers to focus on what matters. It solves the 'boring but difficult' parts of deploying and managing cloud native services so you don't have to." So what is it? Knative has two components: Serving and Eventing. In this online hands-on workshop we will look into Knative Serving. We will use OpenShift Serverless (Red Hats version of Knative) and run it on OpenShift. Topics of this workshop include: - Installing Knative / Serverless using an Operator - Deploying an example app - Traffic Management - Auto-Scaling - Some Debugging To attend this workshop it would be helpful if you had some previous knowledge around Kubernetes and a Service Mesh like Istio.
