Bitcoin Association Switzerland invites for an event dedicated to the Zero-knowledge-proof technology.

Some call it a revolution, we call it the second wave in replacing trust in people by trust in cryptography.

Zero-Knowledge Proof techniques is a powerful toolkit in cryptocurrencies. It can protect privacy and enable scalability.

Typical use cases are: KYC/AML requirements, loan applications, digital voting, reducing workload of verifying nodes by replacing block history by a proof of validation.

Alan Szepieniec is not only a BAS insider but also a high profile cryptography researcher. He holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Engineering from KU Leuven and continued his scientific work with a PhD on post quantum cryptography.

He founded AS Discrete Mathematics based in Zug/Switzerland and currently works on zero-knowledge-proof protocols.

Alan is going to talk about exciting insights on ZKP applications in cryptocurrencies.
