Bitcoin Association Switzerland invites for an event dedicated to the LIGHTNING NETWORK.

Christian Decker is not only an enthusiast from the very beginnings of Bitcoin, he is also the World’s first Bitcoin PhD.

With his research he has contributed in understanding of the underlying consensus mechanisms and to the networks ability to scale with the increasing demand (PeerCensus and Duplex Micropayment Channels).

Within the Blockstream Team he works on building side-chains to provide more functionality and solutions to the Bitcoin world.

Christian will talk to us about exciting insights from his work on the LIGHTNING protocol for about 20 minutes and then answer questions.
