This year we had insights into Bitcoin’s Technology Stack from Jonas Schnelli (Bitcoin Core), Elizabeth Stark and Christian Decker (Lightning) and Alain Szepieniec (Zero Knowledge Proof).
Christmas time brings us insights into a new twinkling star in the Bitcoin sky: The RGB protocol, which is being developed and maintained by the LNP/BP Standards Association, has brought smart contracts and digital assets to Bitcoin and Lightning Network.
Smart contracts and Bitcoin; these technical phenomena are rarely associated with each other, often because people believe bitcoin’s Turing incomplete scripting language can’t support the smart contract applications that have become the darlings of the Ethereum ecosystem.
RGB is about to change this perception.
Olga Ukolova (Medical Doctor, COO Pandora Core AG) and Maxim Orlovsky (PhD in Neuroscience, Medical Doctor, CEO Pandora Core AG) are major contributors to this promising technology.
